One Piece Film RED will open in Japan on August 6 and the full movie soundtrack will be released shortly after on August 10. The project will be supervised by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda himself and directed by Goro Taniguchi who was the first person to animate the series’ main protagonist Luffy.

Uta is introduced as the daughter of the legendary red-haired pirate Shanks, which Luffy loudly proclaims in front of a packed-out stadium in the trailer. Pirates and Marines from around the world gather to hear Uta’s voice which is said to have the power to change the world.
